Gold Talk
For anyone ordering custom work I’m now quoting based on the price of gold or silver on the day your deposit goes in. That’s the day I lock it in, and the rate I’ll be creating from.
I wish I had a little vault full of gold sitting here to start each piece from, but unless I’m melting down your own metal, I have to price it by the live market. And trust me gold’s been dancing higher every day lately!
I’ve been making jewellery since I was twelve (I’m forty two now), and I’ve never seen the metal market shift quite like this. What we’re watching isn’t just “the price going up” it’s the value of the dollar going down. That’s the part people often miss.
So if you sell your gold now, you’re not really selling because the price is high you’re selling because the currency is weak. Gold and silver have held their worth for thousands of years, long before banks or paper money. They are the original store of value — the earth’s own currency.
Every piece you’ve ever bought from me, even if it’s scratched, broken, or needing a good clean, has risen in worth. A $700 ring from four or five years ago is now worth around $3,500 in gold alone before you even count the craftsmanship or the story it carries.
So please, if you can, don’t sell. Hold onto your pieces, even if they sit tucked away for now. Gold and silver are protectors they carry your story, your history, and your security.
And to everyone who’s ever supported my work I’m endlessly grateful. You’ve not only made mulla… you’ve made magic.
“Real alchemy isn’t turning metal into gold it’s recognising the gold you already hold.”
